TimePilot Central

The In/Out Board

The In/Out Board in the TimePilot 5 software displays the current status of each employee. This feature is especially helpful to organizations that need to know when an employee is on the job and when they're not.

Green arrows indicate the employee is currently present. A blank space indicates they are not present (clocked out). A square indicates that they are clocked in but not present, and the color of the square tells you whether they are on holiday time, vacation, taking paid time off, etc.

For a guide to the square colors, click the "Setup" tab along the left side of the screen, then the "Transaction Type" tab that appears at the top of the screen.

To assign a transaction type to an employee for a particular day, double-click their name in the list of transactions, then choose the type from the drop-down box and click "Save.'

As you can see at right, the number of Transaction Types available to be assigned to Richard Nixon is fewer than those shown in the "Transaction Type and Accrual Setup" screenshot above. That's because the Pay Class assigned to Nixon specifies only seven possible types.
